Fatigue Hair Loss Joint Pain
Skin rashes, joint pain, fatigue, hair loss…could I have Lupus?
The skin rashes have been pretty much consistant over the past couple of years, and I have tried everything to see if it is allergic reaction,but cannot figure out any allergy. the red circular patches are raised and itch terribly, causing me to scratch until I bleed. My wrists and hands hurt daily, and my haior falls out in great gobs. I am always tired, which is difficult becaus ei have two small children and I am afraid that it is Lupus..but I have no insurance, therefor cannot go get tests done, or even ask my doctor…any advice?
You are definitely manifesting symptoms of lupus but of course lupus mimics lots of other illnesses. Please take a look at our website www.lupus.org.uk where there is a free nurseonline service. You could send her a list of your symptoms (make sure you tell her everything) and she could say if she thinks it might be lupus. It is obviously not possible to diagnose lupus without a doctor seeing you and carrying out the correct tests.
I would strongly advise you to seek medical help, if it is lupus it must be treated as soon as possible. Even if it isn’t lupus you have something wrong that needs to be investigated. Please DO NOT leave this untreated, you MUST seek medical advice. Whichever country you are in please see if there is a doctor that will see you.
