Hair Loss Constipation
Post thyroidectomy symptoms…?
I had a full thyroidectomy on March 18, 2009. I am experiencing horrible constipation, hair loss, and mood swings. Will this get any better after i start the thyroid replacement, or will i be this way from now on?? I havent seen any weight gain which is good but its only been about two weeks so i cant possibly rule the possibility of that too. Anyone with experience, 5 stars… Thanks!!
P.S. the reason for the removal was a suspicious goiter, which i still have not recieved lab results for, not sure if it was cancer yet..
It should improve when you begin the medication.At the moment you will be experiencing hypothyroidism-the medication will bring your levels back up.
