Why do men go bald and women don’t?

Okay so I know not all men go bald and some women go bald or at least suffer from hair loss but why is it that men have a predisposition to losing there hair with age? Obviously its genetics or something else equally difficult to understand but I have often wondered this (I know I procrastinate to much). Simple but clear answers please.

Men have different hormones in their scalp which can often affect whether they go bald or not. Women have a different hormone with causes their hair to grow longer wheather it grows slow or fast. It can be genetics, because my dad’s hair is very long and so is my brother, except my brother cuts it.
HOpe i could help!
