how long will it take for my hair to grow?

i recently used a good shampoo that is supposed to prevent hair loss to make my hair grow an inch a week
i am so worried about my hair getting tangled & i comb my hair allot does that have anything to do with it breaking off

First of all I highly doubt that a shampoo can make your hair grow an inch a week. That’s really fast.
Your hair shouldn’t break. It’s important to preserve your ends.
- If you use a lot of heat on your hair… flat irons or curling irons, try and take a break from them for a while.
- When you comb your hair comb gently and use a rubber comb, not plastic.
- When you brush it use a brush with natural boar bristles, not plastic, and don’t brush you hair when it’s wet.
- I don’t know your hair type but don’t wash it every day. Once a week should be good.
- Have your ends trimmed but not too often. Once every 2 months is fine.
- It’s also really important to condition your hair with a good moisturizer. Use something oil free because oil seals the hair shaft and prevents it from being able to absorb moisture. If you want oil for shine or something then put it on ‘after’ the conditioner and use a plant based oil like sweet-almond oil or olive oil rather than mineral oil or other petroleum based products.
- Massage your scalp daily. The circulation promotes growth.
