5 months old Beagle / mix puppy doxie small patch of hair loss between the upper leg and torso?

It is red and seems to be itchy. It is the size of a dime and does not seem to be increasing. (which has had a little over a week. Do not have any other places with the loss hair, and has been active in the revolution normal.I have it so it must be protected from dust mites. Anyone have and idea what this could be?

Could be a hot spot. Ask your veterinarian to check it out. Or maybe it is still young he could of been goofing and got his hair in something and pulled it out.
