Hair Loss Pms

Can one experience hair loss during pms?
Some women with hair loss problems such as chronic telogen effluvium, do report an increase in shedding prior to menstruation. The “pull test” is often used to determine telogen effluvium. If you grab a small section of hair and gently pull you should get 1-3 hairs. If you do this on various parts of the scalp at various times and consistently get more than a few hairs in your hand you may have telogen effluvium.
