Hair Loss Testosterone Women
How can you lower testosterone levels in women with PCOS?
I have PCOS. I was diagnosed 6 years ago. I have conceived 1 child 4 years ago. I have had 2 miscarriages this year one using clomid and glucophage. My testosterone levels are 114 almost twice the norm for a female. I have noticed a small spot of alopecia and diffused thinning of the hair shaft. My doctors are retards and men so they do not understand the affects of hair loss for a woman. I need to know how i can reduce my testosterone on my own and try to salvage my hair and my sanity. Also maybe try to have another baby.
You can go on birth control to change your hormones but this prevents having children. I would change doctors. I have problems with ovarian cysts and it was so frustrating for a long time. I basically shopped around for a doctor that would help. I know what hair loss is like for a woman. When I started losing mine I was very upset because it was part of my identity as a woman. Finding someone who is understanding is always more helpful than someone who doesn’t bother to help you and doesn’t try to understand.
