Hair regrowth after waxing – hair grows at different rates?
I like the results of waxing when it’s newly done, especially in areas like my underarms where the skin is thin and a stubble always shows through even when freshly shaven; but I find the hair grows back at different rates — some hair is long enough to re-wax in about a week, but other hairs take two weeks and others three to get long enough to pull, and so on — such that I can pretty much never wax smoothly again unless I wait a couple months until *everything* has grown back.
Is there any solution to this other than just going in with tweezers and manually removing hairs as they come up, for the rest of one’s life?
That is one of the biggest problems with waxing. Is why i prefer epilating. A good epilator can pick up hairs that are only a couple mm long. So really after epilating can leave it go for a few weeks like would with waxing, and though there are a few hairs they are fine, and likely only noticed by you….or can epilate every week like i do cause i hate any hairs at all. Epilating you get all the pluses of waxing, you are pulling hairs from the roots, get the very smooth no stuble, and hairs come back finer, lighter, and less at a time. But you dont have to wait for hairs to be long enough to wax. Ive been epilating for 6 months and will never go back to waxing or shaving
