Lab Losing Hair Around Eyes
My lab is losing hair around one eye and a spot near her nose?
We took her to the vet and had a test run on her to determine that it is not mange, ringworm, or mites. We had her on Hydroxyzine hcl 25mg & cephalexin 500mg for 10 days and the vet has now put her on itraconazole 100mg for 30 days.
Our dog is acting normal. She is not iching her eye, her appetite is still healthy, and nothing else seems to have changed.
In addition, the infection around her eye is starting to look bumpy and a little rough. Any idea what could be going on?
Sounds like it’s ‘healing,’ to me!
