Losing Hair Disease
Why is my dog loses his hair?

My teacup Maltese is like 5 or 4 years old and the patch of skin around her ass seems to be growing I think shes more and lose hair and the tail is starting to lose hair as well. Is this some kind of disease? How can I avoid this? not biting the area. The hair fell off. Why? Dont Maltese shed. For the stupid Jonas Brothers fans: GEE IM SO SORRY that was asking a question to see if my dog had cancer. IDK why, but somehow irresponsible MADE ME. WELL IM SORRY I MADE angered by doing a stupid question. -.- God. Well, I learned that my dog had parasites. Gee, THATS MUCH different then dumping. Sheesh stupid people in this damn website.

This may be related with diet. I had the same problems with my wife and I had to change their diet and it took almost a year to get re-grow. I had the vet check it out, but was through my own research I did better, the vet was concerned then.
