Losing Hair Early Age
Early hair loss?
I have no idea if this is what’s happening, or if I’m just worrying too much – but whenever I wash my hair, or occasionally when I run my fingers through it, I pick up a few small, short pieces of hair that has fallen off. Am I losing my hair at the age of 17, or is this just a common ‘thing that happens’? Thanks in advance.
I’m 17 too, and I had the same problem last year. I was shedding all over the place and I was kind of freaked out. When I looked into it a bit more I found out that it’s natural to lose around 100 hairs a day, but if you have a lot of stress in your life or are really tired you’ll probably find yourself losing more. It can also be a symptom illnesses. Once I started getting more sleep this year, I’ve been okay. Hope this helps and best of luck!
