Losing Hair Male Pattern Baldness

Male Pattern Baldness starting, or Puberty at work?

I’m a 17 year old male with a good diet. I take a vitamin supplement daily. I recently noticed my front hairline appears to be receding a bit. I looked at pictures over the past couple years for hair line appearance, and I just can’t see if it’s changed. I don’t seem to be losing hair on the scalp, but I can’t quite tell. My family genes make it unpredictable. My grandfather (mom’s side) has a significant amount of hair for his age (70s). My uncle (mom’s brother) still has a good head of hair. My father is approaching his 50s and is just starting to have a noticably receding hair line. On the other hand, my dad’s father is already bald, and has been for a long time. Is a receding hair line part of puberty, or is male pattern baldness taking place? What should I be worried about?
