Losing Hair Natural Remedies

Hair Loss Remedies
I don’t, or never have considered myself an egotistical or materialistic person. In actuality, I consider myself very frugal and somewhat modest. So simple things like wearing the right clothes, or driving a fancy car has never been something that I consider important. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t shop at thrift stores and I do drive a decent car (Honda Civic) but I certainly don’t go above and beyond when the way I look is being brought into question. Therefore, you would think that hair loss would not be something that would have a big impact on not only my life, but my confidence, ego and overall well being. Yet, it was, is and probably will continue to be for a long, long time.
I can still remember when my older brother who is only 1.5 years older than me came home from college when he was about 21. I hadn’t seen him in over three years, and by that time he had lost a good majority of his hair. Let me tell you that scared the crap out of me!! So I decided, right then and there that I was not going to fall to the same fate and my search for a solution began.
There are a variety of options when it comes to curing this terrible disease. We’ve got pills, foam/cream, surgery and supplements. I found a major problem with all of them. I think pills as dangerous due to the long term side effects and potential damage to the liver. Foam and creams are tedious and difficult to take on a regular basis Surgery is, well surgery! Lastly, supplements have no guarantees. So what is a guy to do? All I can do is offer my experience and what worked for me.
I tried the foam for about a year. My biggest problem was the difficulty in putting the stuff on. I cannot attest to whether or not it worked, simply because I do not think I gave it a fair shake. But you have to put the foam on at the same time everyday, and hours before going to bed. Well, at that time I was in college and being responsible enough, let along sober enough to put it on 3 hours before bed time was not my cup of tea. So I moved on. My next and probably the most successful product was the pill. This was the most successful simply because I used it for so long. Propecia cost me about 50 dollars per month and I only had to take one pill, once a day. From what I can remember, I think I actually lost some hair during my first few months. But afterwards, it worked great. Great means for over 6 years. The only reason I decided to stop taking it was out of fear for my liver. I don’t think there are any studies that say Propecia can harm the liver, but my wife is a strong believer in natural remedies and pills that pills are bad for you. With that, I moved to supplements. I’ve tried several different types, but have landed on a site that provides a thorough analysis of different options here.
My favorite is at the top of this site. I’ve been using the supplement for about 2 years now and have not found any increase in my hair, but never the less I have not found any signs of losing the hair. And I, as well as my wife feel safer know these are natural remedies.
I hope this helps and best of luck out there. If all else fails, keep telling yourself that “bald is beautiful”.
Cheers!
