Natural Hair Loss Tablets
Is hair loss associated with Crohn’s Disease?
I have recently been diagnosed with Crohn’s Diesease and I’m still finding the right medications. I have slowly come off Steroids and have upped my dosage on mercaptopurine tablets (also known as 6-MP). I have noticed that my hair is starting to fall out alot more (than what is usually natural for me). Does anyone know if my hair loss could be assoicated with Crohn’s Disease or the medication I’m on? Thanks.

My heart goes out to you as I went through a similar situation a few yrs. ago. It cleared up when I switched to another treatment. Are you a candidate for Entocort, Remicade or Humira? These didn’t make me lose my hair. I’ve been on Entocort for a while and so far, so good.
